Hey, I’m Megan!

I wear a lot of hats—mom, fiancée, photographer, friend, professional listener, problem-solver, and usually the person jumping in to help wherever I’m needed.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me camping, hiking, chasing a sunset, planning another cross-country road trip, or finding a new adventure with my family. I love seeing new places, meeting new people, and learning the stories that made them who they are.

Photography became so much more than taking pretty pictures for me.

I get to meet people during some of the biggest moments of their lives—engagements, weddings, growing families, graduations, and everything in between. My goal is to capture those moments while you're actually living them, not make you spend the entire day worrying about whether you're standing perfectly or looking at the camera.

Now, why should you choose me?

Choose me because you look at my work and think, “Wow—I want my story captured like that.”

Choose me because you want someone who will take the time to get to know you instead of treating you like another name on the calendar.

Choose me because you want someone who's easygoing but also isn't afraid to take charge when we need to get twenty family members together for one photo. 😂

I'm probably going to fix your dress, help with your timeline, remind you to breathe, make sure we don't forget the important photos, and do whatever I can to help your day run smoothly.

But here's the truth: there are a lot of talented photographers out there, and I'm not going to pretend I'm the perfect photographer for everyone.

You should choose someone whose work you love and whose personality feels right for you—because you'll spend a lot of your wedding day with your photographer.

That's why, before signing a contract, we'll meet over Zoom or in person. We'll talk about your wedding, look through full wedding albums, answer questions, and make sure we're actually a good fit.

No pressure. No fake sales pitch.

Just a real conversation to make sure you feel confident about who you're trusting with your story.

Why Do I Love Photography?

The simple answer? I love people, their stories, and all the moments that make life what it is.

I don't want to photograph only one chapter.

I want to capture the couple who just got engaged, celebrate with them on their wedding day, photograph their growing family, chase their kids around during family sessions, and maybe someday take their senior photos too.

That's what makes photography so special to me—I get the chance to grow with the people who trust me with their memories.

Every session is different.

Some are loud, silly, and full of chaos. Some are quiet and emotional. Sometimes we're hiking to the perfect spot, chasing a sunset, making kids laugh, fixing a dress, celebrating a new baby, or capturing a milestone someone has worked years to reach.

And I genuinely love all of it.

I love meeting new people and learning what makes them who they are. I want to know what makes your family laugh, what your kids are interested in, how you met your person, and what moments matter most to you.

Because your photos should feel like you.

They don't need to be perfectly posed.

Your kids don't have to sit still and smile at the camera the entire time.

You don't need to know what to do with your hands—I promise I'll help with that. 😂

My job is to guide you when you need it, make you feel comfortable, and capture the moments happening in between.

The belly laughs.

The happy tears.

The tiny hands.

The awkward jokes.

The big milestones.

And even a little bit of the chaos—because someday, those might be the memories you miss the most.

Photography isn't just about taking pretty pictures for me.

It's about giving you something that brings you back to a moment you never want to forget.

Whether you're planning your wedding, growing your family, celebrating a senior, expecting a baby, or simply realizing it's been way too long since everyone was in the same photo—I would love to help tell your story.

I can't wait to meet you!

My Mission as Your Photographer

My mission is pretty simple: I want you to feel comfortable, enjoy the moment, and walk away with photos that actually feel like you.

Whether I’m photographing your wedding, your growing family, your senior, a new baby, or another important chapter in your life, I want to take the time to get to know you and understand what matters most.

You don’t need to know how to pose.

Your kids don’t have to sit perfectly still.

Your wedding doesn’t need to look like something from Pinterest.

And your life doesn’t have to be perfect to be worth remembering.

I’ll guide you when you need it, make terrible jokes when things feel awkward, take charge when we need to get everyone organized, and give you space when a real moment is unfolding.

I want you to look back at your photos years from now and remember more than what everyone looked like.

I want you to remember how it felt.

The laughter.

The love.

The chaos.

The happy tears.

The people who were there.

And all the little moments you didn’t realize I was capturing.

Because life moves way too fast, and these moments deserve more than sitting forgotten in your camera roll.

They deserve to be remembered, shared, printed, and passed down.

That’s why I do what I do.

I’m not here to make your story look perfect.

I’m here to capture it honestly.
